Full Job Description:
As a Financial Services Specialist with Nordstrom, you’ll uphold our legacy of Legendary Customer Service while working remotely, handling customer inquiries over the phone. The ideal candidate embodies qualities such as compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You’ll be comfortable working independently in a virtual environment and embracing technology.
This role is fully remote and available in Illinois only.
Hours of Operation: 365 days a year, 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight) PST
Shifts:
– Full-time positions
– Set schedules available upon offer
– Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with start times determined by business needs
– Expect to work at least one weekend day per week
– Flexibility required, including scheduled overtime during peak periods and holidays
Orientation: 1 week (Tuesday to Friday), 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST
Training: 7 weeks (Monday to Friday), 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST, with successful completion of a two-tiered training program.
Pay:
– Eligible for incentives upon completion of training
– Shift differential pay available
– $50/month work-from-home subsidy
Responsibilities:
– Handle complex inbound account inquiries
– Troubleshoot customer issues with online enrollment and other related questions
– Process new account applications and transactions
– Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
– 1+ years of customer service experience
– Dedicated, distraction-free home workspace
– Ability to work on a computer for entire shifts, with a headset and camera available when required
– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
– Reliable wired internet connection with minimum speeds of 5 MB/s upload and 50 MB/s download
– Clear and professional communication skills
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a virtual setting
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
